Batesville Grad to Referee Matches for Tri-State Wrestling in Hometown
Matches announced for first show at new venue at Knights of Columbus Great Hall
CINCINNATI (January 8, 2024) – The lineup has been announced for Tri-State Wrestling’s first show of 2024, which will be at a new venue in Batesville, Indiana on Saturday, February 17 and feature a Batesville High School graduate as one of the show’s referees.
The 2024 season debut is scheduled to take place at the Knights of Columbus Great Hall, the company’s first-ever show in Batesville. The venue is located at 624 Delaware Road.
The card is scheduled to feature seven exciting matchups, headlined by TSW Heavyweight Champion Tre’ Lamar defending his title against rising star “No Limits” Matt Diesel. Lamar has successfully defended the title on several occasions since winning the championship last July, while Diesel has been making a name for himself in the company over the past year.
The show will feature a special Batesville hometown connection, as 2016 Batesville High School graduate Ethan Lunsford, known professionally as Luck E. Haskins, will be working the show as a referee. In addition, Versailles native and South Ripley High School grad Gaston LaRue will be on the show in tag team action.
Also highlighting the action is a battle between former TSW Heavyweight Champion the “Young GOAT” Myron Reed and JDX. The two competitors have been embroiled in an emotional rivalry since August, when JDX made his TSW debut in the Raider Rumble and immediately set his sights on Reed.
Tickets for the show start at just $15 and are on sale now at TSWTickets.com.
