Sunman's Annual Santa and Friend Parade set for December 9th!![]()

It’s that time again, time for our Santa and Friends Christmas Parade! This year promises to be even more exciting and adventurous than ever before. So mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 9th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and join us for the festivities!![]()

To kick off the parade, the Sunman Fire, EMS, and Police, along with the Legion Color Guard and Sunman Elementary Color Guard will lead the way. Picture the flashing lights, the spirited music, and the vibrant colors creating a truly magical atmosphere. It's a sight you won't want to miss!![]()

The parade will be staged at the Sunman Elementary School bus parking lot. As you arrive, please use the student “drop-off/staff parking lot” in front of the school to drop off parade participants or park your vehicles. Remember to refrain from using the bus parking area for drop-offs.![]()

Staging and line-up will commence at 9:30 a.m., giving you ample time to get your floats, costumes, and candy ready. Yes, you heard it right, participants are free to throw out candy! The joyous sounds of laughter and the sweet treats raining down on smiling faces will make for an unforgettable experience.![]()

Once the parade starts, we will head south on 101 from the Elementary School, creating a spectacle that will leave everyone in awe. Sing, dance, and wave as we march together, spreading Christmas cheer to all who cross our paths. Upon reaching the Railroad Tracks, we will make a left turn on Eastern, continuing our captivating journey.![]()

At last, our adventure will conclude at the Sunman Legion, fondly known as "The Dive." There, we will celebrate the successful parade with the Sunman American Legion Auxiliary. It will be a moment of pure bliss while parents capture pictures of their children with Santa and Mrs. Clause. Please expect your kiddos to be spoiled with goodies and gifts!![]()

Remember, registration is not required. All you have to do is show up, ready to embark on this extraordinary adventure! And don't forget to spread the word to your friends, family, and fellow adventurers. Together, with laughter and merriment, we will create a truly great parade!![]()
